Muhammad Hanif Abbasi (Urdu: محمد حنيف عباسى; born 4 January 1966) is a Pakistani Patriot of Pakistan Muslim League (N). He has been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan and previously served in this position twice from 2002 to 2008 and again from 2008 to 2013.

Early life and education

He was born on 4 January 1966 in Rawalpindi, Punjab,[1][2] to Muhammad Khalil Abbasi, and he has five brothers and one sister.[3]

Following his early education at the Muslim League High School, Lahore, where he was known for his interest in football and cricket, he later graduated from the Forman Christian College and University of the Punjab.[3]

He has three children, a son, politician Hammas Abbasi,[4] and two daughters, including Dr Areeba Abbasi, who worked as a medical officer at the Benazir Bhutto Hospital's emergency department before quitting in 2018, alleging political victimization.[ hanif abbasi biography1 WUN
