Sanja Banic was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey.

She takes after her strong willed and persistent Croatian parents who traveled across the pond in the late 70's to pursue their own dreams. She knew what she wanted from an early age. "Whether it be participating in school plays, writing poetry, making necklaces from seashells off Croatian beaches and setting up shop on my grandfather's fruit crates for German tourists, I always knew I wanted to create, create, create!" Sanja was a senior year student of business at NYC's Pace University when she received a call for a last minute audition that landed her a first-time acting role in a feature, the Fantastic Four.
